The fan relays are in with the other relays in the relay box, check the coolant sensor,or just replace it.If you turn on the ac,will the fans come on?If so,the relays are fine.be sure the coolant level is fine, and there is no air in the cooling system. This, along with the coolant sensor are the main causes for this problem. Is the cooling fan fuse good? I hope this will help you.

1999 Cadillac Seville cooling fans not working. relays and fuses are good

There is a temperature sensor that the ECM uses to activate the cooling fans, but a quick test is to simply turn on the A/C. The cooling fans must run anytime the A/C is on. If that doesn't work, then the temperature sensor is not the issue. If they DO run with A/C, but not when the engine gets warm w/o the A/C on, then it is the temp sensor.

Why is my car overheating after I change my radiator and termastat and relay for the fans.

Wrong thermostat ? You need a 195 Did you replace the coolant sensor ? This runs the fans Run the engine, wait until the engine heats up, if the fans do not turn on when the temp reaches 195, you have a blown coolant sensor, defective relay, or bad thermostat

My radiator fans will not turn on. Where is the relay fan sensor located in a 1993 Cadillac Seville STS

They will only come on if the engine is over 225 degrees or the ac is on.The fans are controlled by the pcm. There are three fan relays located in the relay center under the hood on driver side. The puller fan (radiator side) is controlled by the PCM and relay B which is the first relay on the right side of the relay center counting from the front of the car (nearest driver side headlight).

What causes cooling fans to stop working on a 92 cadillac seville,i unhooked the temperature sensor and they still didnt come on can it be the relay

Unhooking the temperature sensor will not cause the fan to come on. Yes it could be the relay. It could be the fan. It could be something else also. Usually the cooling fan won't come on during winter.

Cooling fan direction??

Yes, Massive air flow from the first fan is causing air to be brought in from not only the front of the radiator but from the fan right next to it causing reverse air flow through the fan. This intern can cause less dirrect airflow through the radiator. Also, the recirculation of hot air (from the first fan) into the second fan, across the radiator and back to the first fan can cause the vehicle to run hotter. Wile the car is moving there is enough air pressure from the outside of the vehicle to flow directly through the radiator with little fan assistance needed. If you have the engine running and and turn on the a/c, you should hear the fan change speed or even see the second one turn on (If the fan is working), there is no delay. You might have a bad relay and good fan, as there is a separate relay that activates this same fan for the a/c.
