Warning light that looks like a faucet for a 2005 Jetta.No Manual

I have a warning light going on in my VW Jetta 2005. It is a yellow light that looks like a faucet. My car came with no users manual what does it mean? Is the car safe to drive?

It's an yellow warning indicator lamp. It lights when brake pads are weared. Now it's time to replace weared brake pads!

Yellow warning light coming on that looks like exhaust pipe
You need a code scanner hooked up to it to find out why that light is on. If you have an autozone near you,go there they will hook one up for you. Takes about 30 to 40 seconds. If not call around.
