I have a lightning bolt simble showing up on my dash board. somthing to do with the electronics dealing with the fuel. the car will only do about 15 miles a hour. what can i look for

If that doesn't fix it, you need an auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer who can scan for communication issues and record the Live Data as it happens and what made the electronic throttle indicator light come on.

somthing may not be charging the alternator not sure never seen before but it sounds like that its not charging

read light could be the hand brake switch. but you would need to look to see what simble its showing first.
