At the fuse panel under the hood or under dash
It is no where near the fuse panel or under the dash .It is located under the hood near the fan motor .Which is on the right side ( away from the battery) You will see two black blocks these are the relays. They are identical so you can actually swap the plugs and this should give you the answer whether the relay has failed.There is also a fuse for the the ECm located in slots S T U its 15 amps .These vehicles have a hi fuel pump failure rate.

I don't have the whole solution, but I do know that my fuel pump is in side the gas tank on my GMC Safari. Hope that helps!

I have a 1996 sonoma the fuel pump relay is in the dash take cover off .There is three relays the one to your left is the pump relay! They are all three the same so you can switch them .You can check the relay by switching it with one of the relay to your right.Just bought one $9.95 AUTO-ZONE

a large book called an electronic component locator can pinpoint that for you. the book can be found at many dealerships, repair shops, and even your local auto parts store. such information is also often available on the computers at the same location and can be printed out for you. of the three, your local auto parts store might be the friendliest to provide you with the information.
