Why did my digital instrument panel go out on my 1999 Mercury Cougar? This digital part shows, time, miles on the car, trip length, how many miles I can drive before running out of fuel and a few other things... The speedometer and the RPM gague is not digital so that works, but nothing in the digital area, and I have no way of telling mileage on the car now.We just got the car and it was fine, we had a chilly night and the next day it wasn't working. We checked the fuses, and those were fine. Could it be a module?
