Its a pressed in bearing,i would recommend u to have it done by mec.but here goes, take wheel off, undo cv axle center bolt, undo brakes, calyper, disc rotor, undo tie rod, lower control arm ball joint, undo strut from steer.knuckle, slide knuckle off cv shaft.at this point u can take steer.knuckle to machine shop to seperate and install hub and new bearing or u can have fun taping out hub and bearing and theres a good chance that bearing will seperate when taping out hub, youll need a puller to take bear.part off hub, then taping them back in without damaging bearing.u will need ball joint seperator, socket for cv bolt,2 jaw puller.

Cant get the hub to come off to replace the wheel bearing on the front driver side

Most hubs have sealed bearings in them so when you get the hub out you will have to replace the hub assembly. As for getting it out try using a slide hammer with a hub attachment. It bolts onto the wheel studs.

How does the front driverside hub come off to get to the wheel bearings????

From what I can find out, the job requires a special tool to remove the hub, that only the dealerships have. I might add, there was a recall on certain year Sephias that came from the factory with a bad hub. The hub was causing the bearing failures. My suggestion is to take your car to a kia dealer and have the hub and bearing replaced.

2001 Kia Sephia, steering box unit, grinding when wheel is turned

That sounds like a cv joint. It is right behind the tire on the end of the axle. It should have a rubber boot around it. I suspect the boot went bad causing you to lose the grease.

How often to change the engine oil for the kia sephia (b5 engine)

you have to change the engine oil for every 5000 to 10,000 kms. every 5000 kms you can change the rotation of wheel ( changing front to back and back to front wheel.) this wheel changing procedure is given on yours cars users manual.

Grinding

Check the brakes and make sure the caliper isn't sticking. If OK, then it's probably your wheel bearings.

Shutter Fluttering

Open the hood and look down at the front of the cylinder head, right above the the exhaust manifold. I would suggest changing the spark plugs, the plug wires, the coil wire, the distributor cap and the rotor button.tarting with the wires. Sound like the electricity is arcing to the surounding metal surfaces.
