The fuse box diagram above says you have a drivers side relay and passenger side relay. If that is correct you might try change the two relay. If the passenger side does not work after that you know the relay is bad. If the two relay are the same. It also show a relay for all the doors.
There is no fuel door release button in 2009 Saturn Vue. When the vehicle is locked the fuel door is also locked. You can only open the fuel door by pulling it from outside when the vehicle is unlocked.
You should be able to jump start it like any other car.
When the battery is up you should be able to disarm the alarm by locking and unlocking the driver door with the key.
Most likely you've got a timed lock programed into your menu parameters. You will have to go to your main vehicle instrumental menu and clear that option. This may have been inadvertantly done by one of the other operators of the vehicle.
the amber light is not for the door locks its for the security system, there must be a issue there, either a bad BCM or a BAD PASSLOCK housing,,,it needs to go to dealer to find out which one, right now its in theft mode and it cuts the fuel off,,,
try locking and unlocking the car with the remote, maybe a anti-theft issue?? what do you mean" tries to start?" either the engine turns over or it doesnt. if it turns over, but wont run, thats another story.
take the ground line of the battery and press the brake for a few minutes and if the life is still on have the vehicle scann and clear code and have the emission components for the vehicle check
sounds like a short in the security system wiring. i assume you have the locking system with the keyless entry? if so, you've got a short somewhere, most likely. take it to a good mom and pop electrical service place unless you've got a warranty at saturn. you'll get a cheaper price and often get better service.
