2 Ways 1 pressure bleed ,,thats with a pressure pump full of brake fluid and undo bleeding nipples one at a time OR the other way 1 person in car 1person filling tank with b/fluid while you get under car a open bleeding nipples 1 at a time starting at the L/H/F then when only fluid cones out lock it up and to R/H/F and then to rear ,,but when open pedal down ,put your finger over nipple so no air goes when pedal is let up and so on..

Pattern for bleeding brakes on 2018 Ford Taurus limited edition

Engine off.
Furthest from Master cylinder first working back to the closest.
Because of the ABS system you have to use a pressure system which pushes brake fluid into the caliper and up to the master cylinder. One benefit is that air bubble always want to head upwards, and the old way you are pushing them down.

Lots of videos, old way and new way.

You must bleed the antilock brake unit, that takes a special tool, so off to the brake shop or local Ford dealer.

some cars with ABS, have very specail rules and steps for
bleeding ABS. , including factory scan tools that must modulate
the ABS solenoids to clear air !

i bounce in and read now for you.
it says.
Bleeding the brakes requires the use of the Toyota Hand-Held tester, or other appropriate scan tool. Follow the operating procedures of the Toyota Hand-Held tester, or other appropriate scan tool when bleeding the hydraulic brake system.

Before fiddling any car with ABS, google your car
see what others did wrong.... save lots of grief.
and a tow to a shop.

I replaced my brake pads & rotors but now i have no brakes

Assuming you put everything together correctly, you may have let air in the system. Follow the brake bleeding procedure for your car. Becareful with ABS systems the fluid can be under very high pressure. Get pro help if you don't know how.

1999 Ford Taurus, replaced leaking master cylinder, installed new brake pads, bled brake lines, pedal still soft. What else can I check?

There is a special tool required to bleed the brakes, it plugs into the ABS hydraulic control under the hood and holds the ABS valves open to remove the trapped air during bleeding, u will need to have the dealer bleed the brakes, they are most likely the only ones that will have this special too, but u can try an outside shop, I am sure Snap on tools makes this tool in the aftermarket tool catagory..
