In May of 2008 my 1999 Honda Accord EX V6 wasn't always starting usually on hot days, but not always. Sometimes it would start 5 minutes later other times 5 hours later. The green immobilizer indicator light wasn't coming on at all when it wouldn't start so I replaced the immobilizer in August of 2008. Again in May of 2009 I started having the same problem along with it dying as I'm driving down the road. When it dies the green indicator light comes on blinks a couple of times and my car won't accelerate when I hit the gas and the rpm's don't increase. When I slow down and pull over my car dies and won't start anywhere from a couple minutes to 30 minutes later. Any ideas on what to do?

This is a standard feature. I would check your owners manual.
SOURCE: Does the 2009 Honda Accord EX have a timing belt
the 2.4L has a timing chain which is self adjusting and lasts the life of the engine. The v6 needs a timing belt replacement about every 90-105k miles.
