How do you replace a headlight switch in a grand prix

How do you replace a headlight switch in a 99 grand prix gtp. head lights do not come on. all other lights work. fuses are good. amd so are the bulbs. was told that the headlights themselves were not getting a charge. and was told that it was the headlight switch.

It is your Multi function turn signal / Cruise control switch. Dealer will charge you $300 approx. to replace.

Have your battery tested or first clean the terminals and cables. Check the ground cables, not just the one on the battery but frm engine to body etc etc.

2004 Grand Prix GTP. My headlights won't turn on. We replaced the relay and checked all the fuses (good) and still nothing.

check headlight bulb first/ then the socket if ok check switch then the electrical wiring connections it must be one of those...

Headlights on 97 grand am gtp turn off when night comes but work during the day why all the lights work fine

Crazy problem. There is a photo sensor that tells the computer when it's dark and to turn on the lights. Do they work at night when you turn on the light switch ?
I would think the photo sensor is defective and should be replaced or eliminated from the light circuit.
