Motor rolls over slowly like drained battery or bad starter

It has been rolling over slow when starting, It sounds and feels like a low battery. it has a new battery and new starter. The alternator tests good. Some times the volt gage shows 14+ volts, sometimes less. When it shows less it appears like it drains the battery, and will barley start evan though the battery tests 85% charged. There are no loose connections on the battery or starter, the battery cables do not have corrosion.

My 2006 Subaru will not start but all the lights turn on the radio it also allows me to roll windows up and down but car will not start like the clique barely sounds 2 click over

If you have full battery power then the problem would be a starter motor issue!

check wires to starter motor and starter motor itself!

1999 ford mustang gt, location of driver side window fuse

Both windows are fused from the same location. Most likely the window motor has gone out or a malfunction this the track mechanism. Check to make sure the window switch in the door handle is good first. Take the switch out, take the wires off the back of switch and jump the wires/connectors together. If window works, replace switch. If all you hear is motor hum or no sound from motor, motor is bad. Window motors usually start to slow down (window rolls up slowly) before they go out.

My 2004 Toyota Matrix will not start, when I turn onver the ignisiton key, nothing happens. The light turns on, radio plays, horn ok and battery voltage is 12,6 volts DC

Do you hear a slight click coming from the engine area??? If not your starter selenoid is bad, and needs replacement. If you do hear a click but the engine is having trouble or slow very slow time turning, then it's your battery. If you hear your starter click, but no turn, then its your starter not turning over. If your instrument lights dim out by alot when trying to turn, then it still your battery which is drain. The battery doesn't completly need to be drain in order for your horn, lights to not work, It could be your battery simply drain and doesn't have enough cranking power to roll over the starter. But in this case issue description, It sounds like it is the starter. Could take it out and bring it to autozone and have them test it out.

I have a jeep grand limited....2005...4.7.....This jeep in question has been in storage for more than two weeks....I forgot to start it up to run the engine...maybe has gone 18 days...When I tried today...

Most vehicles should sit for up to a month without draining the battery but I think your battery is probably just low enough on charge that it won't crank the engine. Recharging the battery should get it going again. Wouldn't hurt to have the battery tested just in case it has a cell that is starting to go bad and have the connections looked at also as they tend to get corroded which can also cause a cranking problem. I doubt if you've caused any damage to anything as I see vehicles every day with dead or dying batteries and don't see any negative effects caused by this. The window rolls up/down slowly, if at all, because the battery voltage is too low to properly power the window motor. Hope this helps and good luck!

1999 chevy silverado 2500.6.0 l.if truck sits all week sometimes it rolls over slow and wont start.sometimes it will start.new battery starter and alternator is good.if truck does roll slow then starts...

2 things come to mind, first check and clean all battery and starter connections. second, maybe you have something draining the battery. next time it rolls slow, put on a battery charger and see what happens. also, even though it is a new battery, it still could have a weak cell.

Ym oldsmobile cutlass supreme wont start and i put

Worst case or one suggestion might be the timing chain. I bet I get some flack here from pros and dealer techs, but the slow cranking is what I keyed off of. Iam sure the knowledgable olds folks will help you. Also bad battery cables, bad starter or just it's solenoid. Do you feel it is a starter issue as in cranking or no start as won't stay running?

Power windows roll down slowly

You can try a dry lube or lithium grease on the slow ones, but it sounds more like you need new window motors. Unfortunately Saturns are plastic cars, and... The window motors are not too difficult to change and it requires removing the outer door panel to make it easier to access.
