On my 2004 chevy silverado ext cab the heat blows hot on the passenger side and cold on the driver side. (it has dual controls) I have also had the opposite problem with the AC. I have always been able to turn the ignition off and on with the AC problem and it would correct its self. But with the heater I have tried everything and I can't get any warm air on the driver side. It's starting to get cold so I would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks
Steve
There is a motor actuator that moves these doors for hot and cold, two separate ones for either side. the motor unit for drivers side is no good and needs new one. replace this and all will be good.
I have the same truck (2004 ext. cab) and exact same problem. Any Idea of cost to have this repaired?
My 06 silverado sometimes won't givve me heat on the driver side. I found that if I move the slider all the way down before I start the truck, then bring the heat up when it's running, i'll get heat on the drivers side.
