It's in the valley of the engine. Do not ever replace it even if you get a code. A knock sensor will NEVER casue a driveabiity problem. It only retards timing 6 degrees if it senses spark knock. It also sets a code if an engine mount is broken and the engine rocks up and down on acceleration.

According to the Haynes manual it is under the intake manifold, Upper and lower intake manifolds must be removed for access. If you go to Auto Zone, they have the sensor and can give you the step by step instructions to replacing the knock sensor with common tools. Good luck and hope this help.

Bolt's up to the side engine block, passenger side.

It is under the lower intake manifold in the valley of the engine.You must remove the cross over coolant tube to gain access to the knock sensor. It bolts into the cylinder head. Good luck
