Mazda does not seem to have a 2.0 for that year. They have a 2.3. Try this diagram.

The easy, cheap and fast way is to locate a Taurus / Sable Repair Manual in a Auto Store (Chilton or Hayne). You can keep it for the future and keep your Taurus in "good shape". I hope this helps. Take care.

I would suspect either the fan motor or the switch. But you should also check to make sure the fuse has not blown.

If you do not want to buy a manual (and if you do buy one, i recommend Haynes), you can get a free one by logging on to autozone.com and registering. Add your car to your garage and they let you use online manuals similar to a Haynes' or Chilton's with diagrams. i cannot say for certain how good it will be, though, as i have had some good and some not as good experiences with their manuals. But, hey, for free? It is at least worth a look.
