Rarely my 2005 Colorado 5 cyl. turns over fine and almost starts but then stalls and cuts off. When I try to start it again it turns over fine but will now start. After 10 to 15 mins. it usally starts. What could this be?

On my 2005 Chevy Colorado fuaceel filter is located on the drivers side front edge of the gas tank you can't miss it it's got the fuel lines running into it and out of it and they have pressure fittiings on them so there pretty easy to replace
Well I would start there. The computer takes the engine and air temp and regulates the amount of on time for the injectors among other things. Make sure the coolant level is full, the thermostat is opening, and see if the code comes back. Could be a faulty sensor.
Seems like the fuel line looses its fuel or something. ????? That would cause a no start or hard start problem . Your best bet , have it diagnosed by a repair shop . That is unless you want 20 different answers on here . Are you willing to replace parts your vehicle doesn't need . Testing is the only way find the problem , not guessing , that's all you'll get on here . Hooking up a professional type scan tool an checking sensor data parameters to see what is a miss . Doing fuel pressure testing ,hooking up a pressure gauge .
why does the reduced power light come on , then the truck stalls. If you pull over and shut down the engine and wait a 30 secounds the truck will restart and run fine until the next time you start the truck. The truck has 48k miles
okay try this....talk to your parts store and get a battery load tester, and find out if the battery is indeed dead. My guess is it sounds like the Altenator is dying. they are around 50-100 and can be install by a pro in minutes.
