The AC was working fine and then all of a sudden the AC quit. When I turn the AC on, there is no click or engine rpm change. The compressor/clutch never tries to engage. I suspect a blow fuse, but cannot find the fuse location. I read somewhere online that the AC engine fuse was behind the glove box, however I have removed the glove box and still cannot find the fuse. Does anyone know where the AC engine fuse is located on a 1996 Buick Century, 3.1L V6.

I did not find any fuse where you indicated. The regular fuses are located in the glove box behind a small removable cover. However the AC engine fuse is elusive....and I am still trying to locate the relay center under the hood!

yes the box is behind the panel you spoke of. Found these fuses with help of owners manual. "Engine a/c, EGR, Relays, SIR Crank and safety belt fuses. These fuses are located behind the glove bos. The fuse holders are taped together with gray tape
