The Flashers all work Hazard and l & R signals or they all do not

When you start driving the Signals and the Hazard lights do not work.
If you leave the Hazard light button ON the hazard lights all of a sudden after driving for a while. Start to work and then both signals work as well. But if you turn off the engine and restart the engine nothing works again. Should I just change the Flasher unit or is there another electrical problem?

I brought a 2000 durango and the signals not working but the hazard lights work where and I find the problem

There are two separate flasher blocks, one for hazards and one for turn signals, listen for the clicking with hazards on there usually right next to each other, when you find it swap the flashers around and see if the turn signals start working and the flashers quit.. Otherwise you could also be looking at a turn signal switch problem

1998 dodge grand caravan emergency flashers & turn signals do not work

Sounds like the turn signal flasher (lighting control module). It is used for both the turn signals and the hazard flashers. There is one type for cars with DRL and one for cars without DRL.

2000 tacoma flashers don't work but turn sig do work!

The hazard switch gets power from the horn fuse which is hot all the time, and from the turn signal fuse which is hot when the key switch is on. The turn signal switch gets power from the hazard switch and both use the same flasher.
So if the turn signals work but the hazard switch does not power the lights, and both fuses have power, I would say the problem is inside the hazard switch.

Flashers work but turn signals will not 1989 bonneville

There are usually two flashers that are used on most cars. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. They are usually located under the dash. If you don't know what they look like, then go to the parts store and ask to see a new one. Once you locate both of them, see if they have the same part number stamped on them. If they do, then switch them and see if the signals work.
REMEMBER : The key must be turned on for the turn signals to work in most cases. The hazard flashers will work with the key off.
If the signals work, then replace the turn signal flasher. I hope this information is helpful and thank you for using Fixya.com.
