I've run the car with and without the thermostat so I know that's not the problem. I don't see water leaking from anywhere before or after it overheats. I haven't tested the radiator for clogs yet. So what am I missing?
Running the vehicle without a thermostat is not a check. These cars have a computer control, running it without a thermostat or one in the wrong tempertature range will not let the system operate properly.

Hallo
without termostat, start the car. in one minute ideling, both hoses from cooller should be warm.
If only top one is warm, change wather pump.
also check if presure is bildinh inside wather sistem. that indicate head gasket or head itself should be checked

Yes sir.....both high and low fans come on
Also, I've checked the oil and it looks good. I've run the car with the radiator cap off and don't see any bubbling. When the car overheats the overflow tank is boiling. I'll test the temperature difference of the top and bottom hoses this evening.
I heard mixing the red and green coolant will cause a clog. Is this true?
Pulled the water pump this weekend and it was locked up tighter than a drum. Installed a new water pump and it's back on the road!
