have the starter switch checked/replaced
only the switch and not the key barrel or you will need to reprogram the key fob and immobilizer

91 Nissan Sentra 4 Door XE Shuts off while driving sometimes. Takes longer than normal to start. When turning the key the engine wants to start but it struggles. Battery is good, alternator is good....

Try this. With engine cold, turn your key to the "on" position but don't crank the starter. Let it sit for about 5 seconds, then turn off. Turn back on and try to start. If it starts easier, you fuel pump is weak and probably needs to be replaced.

2003 Ford Expedition is hard to start. I takes two to four turns of the key to get the engine to fire.

Could be fuel pressure loss.
The fuel pump is supposed to hold pressure when the engine stops.
If it falls to zero, you would have to cycle the fuel pump relay a few times to get it back up to start.
I would check the fuel pressure first.

Do you own a scan tool ? One that shows engine sensor data parameters ? Checking sensor data would be the thing to do .

Check out the fuel pump on an oscillscope
Check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail
Need a clean fuel filter

Check TPS with a scope

I say scope because it will show you
quickly what is going on,where as a
volt meter only gives you numbers (volts)

Scope the O2 Sensors also or replace if
at 100,000 miles (front 2 only)

Spray throttle plate and MAF Sensor
with the CRC Products for those two

MY 2003 expedition is hard to start hot or cold but if I turn motor over and stop then try again it starts up

change fuel filter, if that don't work then you have a weak fuel pump

I have a 2003 ford expedition starting problem

hook up a fuel pressure guage and check it at start up, key on pressure should build and hold , if not check it could be regulator of leaking injector

Engine won't start until car sits for awhile after

replace the IAC or clean it. If it doesnt open when you try to start your engine it will not start, after it cools down it may work and let it start Idle Air Control Valve

Truck won't start, but after ride on tow truck starts right up, please help?!

Typically when the fuel pump goes it is gone. Have you ever changed the fuel filter? On my 2000 expedition it is inside the frame on the drivers side about midway. Try this first, it is cheaper and easier than a fuel pump. Takes about 10 minutes.

HI ' sounds like a liking fuel pump check valve ,to test install a fuel pressure tester follow instruction on tester ,turn key on don't crank engine over turn key off and back on again note your fuel pressure should be 38 psi to 48 it should keep 20 psi in system after 10 minutes of just siting replace fuel pump if you loose the pressure
