Would like to know what is involved in changing timing belt in 1995 Toyota xtra cab pickup with v6 engine

Its involved, unless you are a mechanic, then you need to find a good shop to replace it, and any related items. tensioner pulleys, seals, water pump, ect.

You need to be very careful: Rotating the Engine with a Interference Engine will cause Valve Damage if not done properly.

Make sure you do not use the Trapezoid/Square Knotched Belts with Round Type Sprockets nor Round Knotched Type Belts with Trapezoid/Square Sprockets.

The Mark you are looking for is on the Engine Casing Lip, The Diagram on this Link should help you at least "quesstimate" if you still cannot find it.

Broken Timing belt

this is an interference motor, if cranked the valves will come into contact with the piston and cause major damage. Its very possible that valves may have bent(worst case). Have the belt replaced and engine pressure tested. Hopefully its not the worst case.

Timing belt on Accord 2004 v6 models

2003 and up Honda Accord with 4 cylinder engines do indeed have a chain and the V6 has a belt which must be replaced at 110,000 miles. Why? Ask Honda, they designed the engines.
