Check heater hoses, they go from back of motor to heater connections on firewall.if you replace them, split old hose[s] with a razor knife & cut away.pulling or twisting on heater core connections may damage them.

I have a 1997 318is and between the motor and fire wall on the back of the engine i have a major coolent leek and i dont no what part is leaking and i dont know how i can even get to it to fix it?

Its more than likely either the heater core or one of its hoses could have a tear in it. I would try to follow lines to see where it runs to

My grand prix is not circulating coolent would the water pump always leak if it is bad

No, not always. I would check your thermostat first. You possibly could have an air pocket in the system. I would lean towards the t-stat though. Hope this helps, TJ

My 2004 grand prix is over heating and my heat isnt working. It is coolent leaking under the car towards the back of the motor.

Hi, most common problems on the 3.8 liters is intake gaskets leaking because of the dex 3 coolant eat out the gaskets. If you will un screw the oil filler neck and move the cover were you can look around the intake there you should fine your leak. If i can help you further please re post.

Most likely have a coolant leak somewhere. Could be the radiator, hoses, coolant reservoir, water pump. Get it resolved asap, wouldn't want to pull over to have your car rolling in it's coolant..

Coolent leaking

i doubt very much wether the block is cracked it is more likely to either be a heater hose may be leaking or a welsh plugs ( little round dish shaped plug ) in the side of the block i would first check all the heater hoses and the look on the side of the motor for a possible welsh plug leak i'd say its hoses tho

Ac compreser will not turn on

fix the vacum leak unfortunatly there are a pile of vacum hoses in the eng compartment so giving you an answer as to whats leaking is impossable. That being said the ac system is a balenced system too much pressure or to little and the ac clutch on the motor wont engage to circulate the freon or coolent. If the clutch clicks on and off or dosent pick at all usually its a coolent presure problem to low to high or a blockage any ac service station will be able to hook it up and give you an answer in 30 min or less shouldent cost more than 75 bucks to at the very least fix the vacume leak and get a bead on the ac issue good luck
