Several things ... best guess, in order:
1. (very likely) Radiator fan is not blowing (turn on car and a/conditioner.
When compressor kicks in, the radiator fan must blow). If it ims not blowing,
the radiator fan motor may be burned out ($40).
2. Check / replace "cooling fan" fuse ($1) and / or "cooling fan" relay switch
($7).
3. Radiator clog (possible)
Hope this helps!

Pulled the motor out of automatic 98 base v6 mustang and put the motor into a standard 98 base v6 mustang and now its not firing, what could be the problem?

Crank sensor, coil, ignition module, Or the distributor, If it has one. This for fire to the spark plugs. Being both were 98's. You could have purchased a bad engine. Check compression.

I have an 2005 v6 mustang. I changed my water outlet housing, because it had cracked on the side. But after changing that now my coolant fans won't come on unless I am running the a/c. Can anyone point...

Is it over heating ? Hooking up a scan tool that can view sensor data to see what the PCM - engine computer see's as far as what the temp is . The PCM turns on the the fans . The fact that when you use the A/C an the fans come on ,tells me the PCM is controlling the fans .. The PCM will turn on the fans when engine temp.reaches 213 degress .

My 1995 buick century 4 door v6 3.1 is over

You need to change the "Coolant Temperature Sensor". That usually controls the fan. If the fan does not run, you will overheat.

98 Mustang v6 - no AC

Make sure the radiator pressure cap is the correct one and that the hose is not soft--check the lower hose and heater hoses for softness as well. They should be firm, but not hard or cracking. The temperature sensor is reporting normal operating temperature, so it and the thermostat are working correctly (hot water would blow out of the radiator if it were stuck). Check the cooling fan for free turning and no noise. Check it's grounding connection. Check the fuse box for blown fuses to the fan and to the A/C compressor. Make sure all the relays and fuses are firmly pressed into their sockets. Check the A/C compressor clutch winding for resistance--should not read infinity. Does the blower motor for the heater/A/C run when either is turned on? The A/C switch on the dash may be defective.

98 eagle talon is over heating when i drive it and there a white smoke coming out of the tail pipe , also the reservoir is boiling and steaming

sounds like overheating caused the head to warp blowing the headgasket ? there are always reasons this happens ? bad rad, waterpump, fans not working, thermostate, so be aware that after you repair headgasket to fix what caused it to blow or you will be doing it again ? god luck [email protected]
