Key fob lock / unlock and int cen/locking button does not work
Checked the fuses and the key fob will open the boot so its not the key fob battery. Can anybody advise what the problem might be.
I am currently unable to lock and alarm my car.

does the lock unlock function work? if not you need to reprogram the key fob most likely. does the "B" on the boot(trunk) lid open the trunk? if not but the lock unlock function works on the key fob you most likely need a trunk(boot) motor or latch
- Sit in the car with all the doors shut and windows up with your key fobs (all your fobs need to be done at the same time)
- With one of your keys turn the ignition on then off and remove the key
- Press and hold the unlock button and then press the lock button 3 times.
- Release all buttons and the locks will bounce up and down.
- Repeat this with the other key/keys (press and hold unlock and press lock 3 times, locks will bounce)

information is for the resetting of a previously synchronised key to match the
security system after batteries have been removed or replaced. This information
does not work with new keys which it seems must be taken to a person with a key

You are going to need to check the power lock control moduel on the inside of the door panel. If the FOB appears to be working but the doors are not unlocking, you need to check this. I would also replace all fuses that control the locks. If both of these devices check out ok, you may need to replace your FOB. To check your power lock control moduel, manually lock and unlock your doors by pressing the lock button on the inside of the door. If it does not work, it is either the fuses or the power lock control moduel. If it works, your FOB has gone bad. Hope this helps! Please rate 4 thumbs up!
1. used the key to start the car...then turned it off
2. put the key in the driver door (door closed)
3. pressed the lock button on the key fob once
4. turned the key to lock the door.
This is basically the steps in the owners manual, but the car must be started with the key first, and the key must be in the door lock before pressing the lock button.
1....ensure the battery in the "Key Fob" is OK............Press either Lock or Unlock button for more than 1 second, the lamp on the fob will light if OK. Change battery if it does not illuminate!
2.....if battery on fob OK.......Re Syncronise the key fob to the car by:.... a brief press on either button twice and within 30 seconds turn Key to position 2 on the ignition lock
Hope that fixes it...let me know?
I am assuming your problem is similar to mine; the key fob isn't dead, but for some reason the boot won't release. This happens rarely, but can be very frustrating (and embarrassing)!
When neither the key fob nor the release on the boot work, lock and unlock the car, and insert the key into the ignition. Turn the key to the second stage, i.e. the accessories are powered, and then remove the key. This ought to allow you to use the fob again.
