ABS = Anti-lock Brake System. TC = Traction Control System (Engine Control Module). If the ABS lights on the dashboard permanently the ABS system is faulty. You must access the ABS & TC Electronic Control Units (ECU) memory for pull out all DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes), using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car. Then you will be full informed about bad pieces (e.g.: front right wheel abs sensor interrupted, ...). After bad pieces replacement you will be able to erase all faults memored by ABS ECU, in other words reset the ABS system and turn off the warning lamp on dashboard. I suspect bad brake pedal switch, but you should scan the ABS & TC ECU's.
wow those things are not cheap. Here the lighting control module runs around $450.00 plus tax. Labor is 1hour diagnostics and 1/2 hour install so around $132.00 for labor total $582.00 roughly
ABS stands for anti lock brake system. TCS stands for traction control system.
I recommend having your abs system diagnosed for faulty sensors, control module, etc. With the abs light on the traction control system is designed to disable because it utilizes the abs system to automatically help control your vehicle in loss of traction situations.
i had a simular problem it was the abs sensor on one of the rear wheels 79.00 part. The wire plugs in under the seat and passes through the floor could be the connection also.
