2.2L or 3.4liter, v6 is latter.and transmission vary buy engine max power torque, and more, gear counts for economy.

Which wire ? Heavy gage battery cable to the starter or the smaller gage to the solenoid ? Sounds like you should take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop.
You will need it at a shop that can run diagnostics on saturns. I sure hope you can find an independent shop, and not have to take it to a GM dealership, who like people with big fat wallets. You will need probably a high end scanner to scan the body control module. I think, but not positive, that the bcm has a hand in fuel pump control. Go here and post your question. There is a tech there called saturntech who can answer all Saturn questions.http://www.2carpros.com/makes/saturn/l200. Or go there and search. they do answer free questions. There was a factory recall of the timing chain on the 2.2 Ecotec. This was done for me on my LW200, but then Saturn was still in business. Dealers are still around doing service though. Look over here for inside Saturn dope: http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1281727
Should be a electrical box under thehood labeled fuses and relays. Locate the fan relay by looking at the diagram underthe box and change it out, It unplugs.
