You may need to replace your thermostat. Also while you are at it flush and fill your cooling system.
SOURCE: heater only blows out luke warm air
Your heater cour in the dash needs to be cleaned out or replaced. It is where the 2 hoses go threw the firewall. I have taken the hoses off and blowen compressed air threw it and it helped. if you got to change it you will have to take it out from under the dash.
SOURCE: The heater only blows luke warm air. Just replaced
Hello...
One of 3 things could cause this, that I know. The thermostat has been installed backwards. The water pump broke soon after install. Due to it being a rebuilt one. And a small clog in the heater core. All of these things are easy to fix.
Good Luck...
SOURCE: heater is blowing luke warm air. does not get any hotter
Quite a few idea's come to mind.
1) Thermostat is stuck open, causing the engine to run cool.
2) The vacuum valve that opens and closes the air "flap" is stuck open, allowing cool air in all the time.
3) The vacuum valve that opens and closes the line that feeds the heater core isn't opening all the way.
