The 1976 F-250 "Highboy" 4x4 with a split transfer case came with either the 300 inline 6 cylinder engine or the 360 V-8 engine (first link). Advance Auto lists a BWD brand ignition control module (part number CBE7) for $48.99 with a limited lifetime warranty (second link). The same control module fits the 300 inline 6 or the 360 V-8 for F-150 and F-250 models. There are 3 mounting bolts and 2 plugs to remove and replace the module. The module will be mounted to either the fender well or the firewall. If you require any distributor parts the list is in the third link.

You'll need at minimum to replace the distributor with an older compatible mechanical / vacuum advance and associated rewire. Then maybe... likely some idd.iot light issues but should be able to start/run and get you down the road.

Do Inet search for free wiring diagram or;

1976 Ford F-350 360 Engine How Do I do a complete brake system flush or Brake Fluid Flush to remove all of the old?

A pressure bleeding system is the best way Joe. Pump from the wheel upwards to the master cylinder. Air bubbles like to rise.

I require simple wiring diagrams for a 1976 F150 pickup.

Use a test lite on negative side of coil, engine cranking, the lite should pulse?
It appears the vehicle has electronic ignition, There is a separate ignition module. In the wiring diagram, I can't guarantee the wire colors. The older my wirings diagrams are, it seems, the less accurate they are. I hope it is readable, If no spark, I'd check the ignition system, Check fuses--fusible links--battery connections.

1976 FORD F-100 STRAIGHT SIX Stalls after driving a few miles will restart after a few minutes but stalls again soon after. The longer it sits the longer it will run and drive. I have replaced the fuel...

Sounds like the ignition module on the fender.
You would need to know if you are missing spark to the plugs when it quits running. The carb would not run out of fuel then suddenly have fuel again.

OK,
Have you tried the following:

Ignition Control Module (ICM) REMOVAL & INSTALLATION NOTE: Only the EEC-IV ignition systems use an external ICM. EEC-V systems have incorperated the ICM into the Power Control Module (PCM).
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Detach the wiring harness connector(s) from the ICM.
  3. Remove the mounting bolts, then remove the ICM. To install:
  4. Position the ICM onto the inner fender apron and install the mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts to 22–31 inch lbs (2.5–3.5 Nm).
  5. Attach the wiring harness connector(s) to the ICM.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. Fig. 1: Ignition control module and mounting location on the 2.3L, 2.5L engine 89682g32.gif
