SOURCE: Battery
I would request that the battery be replaced regardless. Ive replaced many a Prius battery that is too weak to start the car, and by the time it gets to the shop its charged enough to pass a test. Dont try for any stronger batteries, it is a special glass matt design and shouldnt be replaced with anything non toyota. The code is probably because the voltage is too low to run certain computers, and unlock the transmission. I would probably stop leaving the key in or near the car, that certainly doesnt help.
SOURCE: parking brake
05 LS, i also have the same problem, heater blowing hot and parking brake light coming on. i just read that the malfunction from the (dual coil water control valve) will cause a spike in the system an will set off the parking brake light. The dealer wanted $645 w/tax to install a new water control valve Ford Part # 2R8Z18495AA, YEAH RIGHT !!!! I found the part on line for $110 w/shipping, i am going to install my self. Its sits behind the radiator passenger side about 6" deep from the fender. very easy to get to , one bolt, one sensor needs detached and the 3 heater hoses that go to it need clamped off before replacing it. As far as the brake light i read that you have to get the brake re-calibrated by the dealer, I dont know yet. If you want the web address for the part let me know. i also posted where to find your code for your door access on a 05 LS. [email protected]

Hmm, I'm not sure what a main chip is but, there is a few reasons for this problem.
Now when your warning lights go on, the computer sets a DTC code which is the key to helping solve this problem. If you can get the DTC (Data Trouble Code) from the dealership or from someone who can scan your can, I can better assist you in figuring out what's wrong. Hope this helps.

Hi Did you check the brake fluid level? If low, buy a new container of DOT3 brake fluid and replenish as needed. This fluid will dissolve paint, so do not spill it. Also check the radiator and inverter coolant levels by looking at the translucent reservoirs behind the radiator and next to the inverter. If low, fill with Toyota Super Long Life Coolant.
However this is an indication that the 12v auxiliary battery is discharging and needs to be replaced. To properly diagnose you will have to see is there is fault codes stored in the transmission module for low voltage supply; this is usually done at a dealer. What is happening is the 12 volt battery probably does not have enough power to operate the 12 volt park prowl and therefor is telling you to park on a level surface and apply the e-brake to the car from rolling away. If you don't want to bring to a dealer and the battery has never been replaced, try replacing battery first, this is located in the passenger side trunk area.
SOURCE: 2002 toyota prius warning light - car with exclamation mark
The light that looks like a car with an exclamation mark in the middle of it is the HYBRID WARNING light (see diagram below) You must scn the onboard computer network to determine why this light is coming on. You also need to scan your computer system to find out why the engine keeps dying. If the hybrid batteries are discharged, they must be properly recharged to prevent serious damage.
CAUTION: Read ALL service and warning lables in the engine compartment before attempting ANY type of service on a hybrid vehicle. The wiring harnesses that have ORANGE connectors are HIGH VOLTAGE connectors and can cause serious injury or death.
DO NOT touch any wiring harness or component that has a HIGH VOLTAGE warning label on it.
My recommendation is to tow the vehicle to a qualified hybrid repair center (preferably the dealer) and get it properly diagnosed and repaired. The high-tech, high voltage systems in this vehicle is nothing for anyone but a trained, certified technician to be messing with.
