Calculating the theoretical horsepower needs many more details and the result usually bears little relationship to the reality. The best method is a dynamometer test but if you are interested the formula is PLAN/33000 where P is the cylinder pressure, L is the length of stroke, A is the area of the piston and N is the number of cylinders. Use Imperial units.
