There are no "bulbs" in it. The cluster has LED's soldered into it. Unfortunately you can't just change them. If you get a new instrument cluster, and install it, then the vehicles body control module (BCM) will go into security lock. You will need to take it to the dealer, and get it "unlocked".

Get a Beck Arnley alternator. The auto-zone, Napa etc. alternators are a problem for Isuzu's. I worked at a dealership and a lot of them came in for this problem. If you still have the original have it rebuilt. Check yellow pages.

Sounds like there IS a loose connection. There is a large connector on the back of the speedometer cluster. You'll have to pull the cluster and that's no easy chore. Sometimes the connectors get corroded also.
Before you tear into it, CAREFULLY push the entire cluster forward to make sure it is snapped into place. Push in a couple of spots using the palm of your hand and a soft cloth so you won't scratch the plastic cover.
Good Luck . . . . . . .
