Every Morning, I reverse out of my parking space. I then put my Scion X B into Drive. I go forward 30 ft and hearing a rubbing sound for 2 seconds vrrp. Then it goes away? Brakes/Rotors almost new.

the engine losing power, check your coolant level, if it is extremely low the temp gauge will not show the engine is actually hot. The tranny sounds like you have a filter that is clogged, tranny fluid thins when it gets warm and will past thru a filter that is clogged, but in the morning the fluid is thicker and will not flow thru the filter without manually shifting it

if it has drum breaks it may be that i just fixed mine the axcel boot was out too wich helped the ticking in the front but the back was the drum break

DIsconnext and reconnect the linkage at the transmission. You may want top replace the linkage cable all together. Make sure you set the parking break and block the tires

let me guess...it will go into 3rd and 4th...but it wont engage 1st 2nd and 5th....well the problem is in the linkage. its a $35 part that u could probably fixx...call the dealer and tell them whats going on...nd tell them u know its part of the linkage..to be specific its the end of the shift cable where it goes into the transmission..it should be no more than $35...ur welcome
