Hello Anthony,
Does the vehicle have a rotten egg smell when you drive it? How many miles are on it? What year is it? These are some of the key factors we need to know to get a better understanding of what is going on. But if it has a rotten egg smell then your catalytic converters are stopped up. Depending where you are located, you can take it to a shop and get them replaced, or fixed. Depending on how many miles are on it, 100k or more you may have to do a tuneup on it. Like I said we need more information. Could be fuel pump, plugs, coil packs, bad gas, and so on.

In neutral there is no load on engine. Stalling under hard accel could be low fuel pressure, clogged exhaust, weak spark.

Stalls under load

hi,
if the temperature is normal, it means that 2 things can cause your engine to stall:
1- coolant temperature sensor
2- oxygen sensor

if the car is overheated it means that the piston rings are having a problem

Stalls when accelerating

Low fuel pressure, check your fuel filter, or check for a weak fuel pump. pump might run, but be too weak to hold enough pressure to run an engine at speed or under load.

Car chugging, smells like sulfur stalls

Check your plugs, leads, coils as these will give you chugging / bunny hop under load, unburnt fuel (sulphur smell) & stall with bad misfire

Stalls under load

By saying "stalls" I'm assuming you mean you are losing power on a hill under load. May be as simple as a dirty air filter or more likely a clogged fuel filter (if you have one). You didn't say what year model

If fuel pressure does not increase when under load the fuel pressure regulator is bad (leaking).

Stalled twice while towing at 65 mph. sputtered

If the scan will narrow down which o2 sensor it is and replace it. If it has more than one on that year that is. Under load you will probable have a richer fuel mix. If the sensor is going going bad it may only get out of spec reading under heavy load and warmer temps. I have had similar issues with GM and it was easily fixed.
