Most likely clogged heater core. You could try to flush it and may come back to life.

SOURCE: The air conditioning in my 2008 Buick LaCrosse

Need clarification...
Does the compressor run steady, cycle on and off continually or even come on at all? If cycles on-off then attach charge manifold/gauge set and bring freon up to proper level. If does not come on at all, then start engine, turn a/c on, remove two-wire plug from low pressure cut-out switch mounted on accumulator. Jumper the wires at plug and see if compressor comes on. If so, bring freon up to proper level.

If charge level was low then check for system leak after system charge with an electronic leak detector if available.

If compressor runs but doesn't cool vehicle then with engine running and a/c on feel (carefully) the lines. High side line should be hot (be careful) and low side line should be cold. If these are both true then it's possible non-cooling condition is due to air temp diverter door not operating or heater valve not shutting off (if so equipped). If low side not cold it could be a plugged orifice tube. If high side not hot it could be bad rings on compressor. Both conditions can be diagnosed with a/c manifold gauge set by noting the pressures.

For safety... if not familiar with differences between hi and low side components or with charge equipment then please take vehicle to qualified person for service.

SOURCE: My remote won't start my 2005 Buick LaCross. I

Both my remotes no longer work. I will be ordering new ones off Ebay and having my dealer program them. New ones from Buick are very pricey.

SOURCE: where is the trunk light on/off switch located on a 2008 buick lacrosse

In the newer Chevy Cobalts the trunk release button is usually located to the left of the steering wheel instead of the glove box.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

What should be done when I put new water pump on 2004 Buick LaCrosse 3.6

Check to make sure that both radiator cooling fans are working. Also check to make sure the radiator is not restricted. The vents in the a/c condenser could be filled with bugs restricting air flow.

My 2008 burick lacross wont get hot heat I replace thermostat water pump and flush the heatercore when I flush the heatercore the heat work for a couple days then it start blowing cold again

Likely the heater control valve for cabin air is failing but could be electrical switch/circuit that controls valve. Check control voltage at valve to isolate.

Replacing blend door actuator for 2005 buick lasabre

2008 Lacrosse

Condition: no heat.

Diag: Hot In and Out hoses radiator, hot in and out to Core which means fluid good and thermostat opening. Bled air out of thermostat.

Fix: while listening for click of BLEND DOOR ACTUATOR (Electric CONTROLS) I manual set temp cold to hot back and forth. HEAT now.

Reason: COVID from sitting almost two years due to not needing three cars commute (WFH) since COVID.
Guess they got stuck from sitting there. I kept telling everyone to "exercise" their cars every week or so by driving and not just starting them.
