The brake light switch is mounted near the top of the brake pedal. It is adjustable, so you may want to buy a manual and read about the proceedure??

normally takes a long extension up and over the top of the starter or one with a u-joint on it for angle changes on most models..try that unless you dont see any real channel for acess..aks the parts store for that particular model.. they will dictate the proceedure forthe car..

Hi, the 2004 Toyota Matrix requires Iridium spark plugs, which retails for about $12 at the dealership, and it should not need to be changed until 120,000 miles.
To change the spark plug, remove the black cove off the top and they will be right there. You will probably need atleast an 8" extender to get to them becasue they don't have Spark Plug wires atleast on the 2zz-ge aka XRS Motor I do Not Know aboout The 1zz-fe AKA Matrix, XR, AWD

I've never seen a filler plug on an auto trans housing. isn't there a filler tube with a dipstick?

it dont matter what engine we talk about,the closer to the top of the engine the the better,it might be the top hose etc,,,,.start the engine and let the air out of the system it will be very hot so watch outonce the air bubbles stop then lock the system/tighten the nut,etc.adrian,,,,

Remove the fuel tank when almost empty or empty it first. Drop the tank straps then remove all fuel lines
drop the tank down and remove the retaining screw off the top
Pull out the sending unit with the fuel pump attached to it
reverse this proceedure to install

Please take note of the configuration of this belt before taking it off. Usually a tag is affixed under the hood with a diagram of the belt routing for this proceedure for reinstallation. Have a 3/8" ratchet to start with. You will have a spring loaded belt tensioner with a 3/8 square hole that this ratchet will fit into. Now push away on the ratchet to give way the tension and hold firmly while removing the belt. Reverse this proceedure to install the new one

its pretty simple remove 2 or 3 screws unplug it and remove,

quickly I would start by draining out the coolant, petcock lower cornor of radiator.

I remove the top-half of the fan shroud.
I remove the cooling fan - rightee tightee ......
remove hose clamps
remove water pump bolts
remove water pump
clean and reverse proceedure

upon refilling the cooling system Purge all air and top off coolant
fill surge tank to the proper level.
