You can't adjust the clutch, your problem may be the slave cylinder. It is connected to the side of the transmission, first check your clutch master cylinder under hood on right side by firewall,if low, then slave cylinder is leaking and needs to be replaced, easy to remove, part is 17.99.I have a 85 Nissan truck, had her for 25 years, replaced mine a few times, use brake fluid.Get a 9.00 beeder kit at Autozone too. Here's a link on how to do and the bleeder kit...https://www.autozone.com/repairinfo/repairguide/repairGuideContent.jsp?pageId=0900c1528018d42a the bleeder kit.https://www.autozone.com/test-scan-and-specialty-tools/brake-bleeder/oemtools-one-man-brake-bleeder-kit/46839_0_0 Here's the slave cylinder.https://www.autozone.com/drivetrain/clutch-slave-cylinder/duralast-clutch-master-cylinder-12425/69758_1035179_0_238602

I have a 93 nissan 300zx non turbo. The clutch is still slipping when car is hot. I've replaced clutch and pressure plate, slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder. What else could it be??

Are you using authentic nissan parts ? If you are, not that is where your problem might exist .Have you checked the clutch pedal to ensure it is not sticking or binding somewhere ? If the master cylinder piston is sticking you may experience this problem .

Changed engine and clutch in 93 pathy..pedal has pressure but clutch bis slipping badly..mabye dislocated release bearing when mating engine and ******...like clutch is not disengaging

If you cannot adjust it then you will have to remove the gearbox to have a look. Maybe the pressure plate is adjusted incorrectly and the fingers are too high.

1987 Nissan PU, I replaced the master and slave clutch cyls. I bleed the system and there is no air in the lines but peddle does not get hard. Could the new master or slave cyl be bad? I see you can adjust...

The shaft should come all the way back, when the pedal is back, the master shaft should be adjusted so there is very little play in the pedal. But it needs some play. Make sure you can see the slave cylinder move when you depress the clutch pedal, you will need help to operate the pedal, while you look.

I am having to push my clutch completely to floor to get the clutch to engage. I have about 1 inch of play. What should I check first. 95 Nissan PU King

Under the hood you will find the clutch fluid reservoir check that for low fluid. It's possible you have a minor leak on the slave cylinder.

Clutch adjustment

This is a hydraulic clutch, it is self adjusting, it sounds like you need to replace the clutch because it has adjusted out as far as it can. I think you are saying it slips when you try to accelerate, that most definitely means the clutch is worn out.
