There are two speed sensors, Input sensor is located on top of the bell house. Output sensor is located on the firewall side of the bell house.

I would check all of your fuses to make sure none of them have blown. Also your odometer and trip settings are based off of you speedometer is if it breaks it will take keep other things from working until it is repaired. also if you feel any difference in your shifting it can be due to the fact the your speedometer is not working I would take it to a certified auto shop as soon as possible if a blown fuse is not the cause of your problem.

First thing to do is make sure your dimmer switch is turned all the way up to high. Next thing to do is check the instrument cluster fuse located underneath the drivers side steering wheel (bottom left side). Remove the fuse box cover lid and then flip the plastic fuse box cover over and you will find a small diagram showing where this fuse is located. Replace this fuse with a new one of the same number amp. A burned out fuse would cause your unit to not work correctly
