My 03 Raptor 660r starts and idles fine but after 30 minutes of riding it seems off and sounds alittle different out the exhaust. It doesn't run right until its cooled down, what is the issue?

Your ECT (Engine Coolant Temp) sensor is bad. What's happening is at cold start it richens up the fuel mixture and as it warms up the ECM thinks it's still cold and essentially the "choke" is still on. Also check your coolant level. If you don't have enough coolant in you engine/radiator, the ECT doesn't know what to do so it thinks it's cold.

SOURCE: Idle fluctuates

Its could be a few things. Most likely cause is you IAC (Idle air control valve) If this valve gets clogged up with carbon it will cause a idle surge on cold starts like you are describing.

Next your FITV (fast idle thermal valve). When the hot wax inside of this valve starts to wear it will cause a idle surge on cold starts.

I'd suggest the ignition control module, however I'd have a certified mechanic check it out just in case...
