Where is purge solenoid for a 2015 Ford escape

near top of engine radiator side on driver's side of engine

under the intake manifold actually attached or mounted on.

The most common cause of this is the electric in fuel tank fuel pump is sticking due to the introduction of the cold fuel. I would replace the pump.

Why? Which purge valve? Emissions purge?

The Evaporative emission system has a large leak allowing fuel vapors to escape to the atmosphere . There are hoses an a purge solenoid ,a vent solenoid ,charcoal canister to store fuel vapors in . The charcoal canister is located under the vehicle near the fuel tank an has vapor lines running to the front of the vehicle to where the engine draws in the vapors by the engine computer opening the purge solenoid ! Any of this vapor hose could have a hole (leak) ,the gas cap could be lose or bad . The fuel filler neck could be rusted through ! At the repair shop we hook up a smoke machine to the system an look for a leak like that ! easy !

I would say, check the plug of the EGR. Check for holes in the gas filler tube, top of the tank or in the vacuum lines that run to the purge canister. You can also check for information on the purge solenoid.
A bad gas cap can cause this too.

Evaporator emission system purge control valve "A" circuit.More than likely its a faulty purge solenoid causing this.
