That's like a check engine light. Can you scan for fault codes? You need those to determine what's wrong.
You must get the obd2 codes read ,but this is a symptom of a failed throttle body motor but to make sure have the codes read

The wrench symbol stands for the electronic throttle control. This was a problem for me as well with my 05 Expedition. You have to take it in to the dealer and have them fix it. This will continue happening if you dont. I called Ford directly about this and they told me enough people have to call and let them know about this problem in order for them to issue a recall. The repairs cost me $750. But I had no choice but to have it fixed. Call Ford 18003923673 and let them know. There are alot of other people with the same problem and they should be responsible and fix it. I hope this helps.

it usually means you are due for an oil change unless the last place that changed oil did not reset the light. Some Odometer displays will show you the oil life when you switch through the displays.
