04 chev 2500hd 6liter gives code p2135 replaced pedal pos. sensor still giving code only does when goes to high rpm when goes in passing gear volts drop and goes to reduced engine power
SOURCE: 2007 Chevy Colbalt 2.2 engine P0446 Code is on.
Code P0446 is related to your vehicles evaporative emissions system. Often this is caused by your gas cap not being properly tightened.
Before running out and spending money on this issue be sure the gas cap is in good condition and make sure it's tight. (At least 2 or 3 turns after it begins to click)
Drive the car for a few days. If the check engine light doesn't turn off you will need to go to a repair shop who can scan and troubleshoot the problem.
Good luck.
SOURCE: dtc code p0121 and p2135 2007 chevy malibu
both codes refer to the throttle position sensor, the sensor is at the throttle plate, on the side of the throttle body. to test remove the connector to sensor, use a ohms meter to test. put 1 lead to top connection and the other to the bottom one. move throttle and the needles on the ohms meter should move very even, move throttle slow to get a good reading, needle should move without no hesitation, if the test is bad replace tps sensor. if the sensor gets to bad, it can have an effect on transmission shifting. after fixing sensor have the light turned of with an obd2 scanner.

P2135 Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Property Malfunction, remember this is not a car that is built by GM it is a Korean import.
SOURCE: My 2003 chevy truck goes
Symptoms
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- No throttle response
Possible Causes
- Harness or connector (The TP sensor circuit is open or shorted.)
- Electric Throttle Control Actuator (or Throttle Body Motor)
- Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APP)
P0220 Description
Electric Throttle Control Actuator consists of throttle control motor,
throttle position (TP)sensor, etc. The throttle position sensor responds
to the throttle valve movement.
The throttle position sensor
has the two sensors. These sensors are a kind of potentiometers which
transform the throttle valve position into output voltage, and emit the
voltage signal to the ECM. In addition, these sensors detect the opening and closing speed of the throttle valve and feed the voltage signals to the ECM. The ECM judges the current opening angle of the throttle valve from these signals and the ECM controls the throttle control motor to make the throttle valve opening angle properly in response to driving condition.
When is the code detected?
An unexpected voltage from the TP sensor is sent to ECM.
