A P0122 code means that the the vehicle's computer has detected that the TPS (throttle position sensor) "A" is reporting too low a voltage. On some vehicles that lower limit is 0.17 - 0.20 volts (V). In simple terms, the throttle position sensor is used to determine what position the throttle is at.

SOURCE: sensor

The ects in located on the drivers side up towards the top and into the side of the block has a small 2 wire plug, make sure when you buy this that you tell them sensor and not switch as they look the same,do this with the engine cool, remove the coolant tank cap to relieve pressure and coolant loss will be very small.

SOURCE: saturn sc1 starting

check coolant temp sensor located at driver side end of cyl head. remove sensor and check or cracks. also check connector for corrosion. if cracked, go to dealer for replacment. they eill sell you a new designed metal sensor to replace your cracked plastic one. dont buy aftermarket, they will not be accurate. cracked sensor will cause eng. to run rich. may start ok cold but not when hot.

SOURCE: I can't shift into first or second gear of my 1996

Assuming this is a manual transmission, most likely the bushing which connects the shifter to the shifter cable has gone bad. Pull the boot around the shifter up and take a look. These are available on ebay and you can install them yourself, assuming you have basic tools. Common Saturn problem, most likely find a how to a video on youtube.

SOURCE: my 96 scl saturn engine light goes on every few

if the light is not flashing then your ok to drive-shouldnt brake down on you
i would have a mechanic check it out-do not trust parts stores who can just read codes and suggest a part to fix it-the saturns are very common to intake leaks and idle air controls valves-i have seen egr valves as well but more often the other two

'99 Saturn SC1 with intermittant check engine light P0341

a p0341 code mean cam reference performance, really it means you have a secondary ignition problem,,,,like a bad ignition module
a bad crank sensor
a high resistance spark plugs,do not use bosch platinum plugs in these cars
high resistance spark plug wires,,,i work at the dealer and the first thing we do is replace the spark plugs and wires if that dont work we replace the crank sensor,if thatdont work we reaplce the ignition mondule, and by then your fixed and you started with the cheapest items first,,,i would try plugs and wires and a crank sensor,,,,wires $50 plugs $14 crank sensor $37
