You need to release the valet button push it again and it should pop out

remove the fuse for the interior lights, or disconnect the switch( at the door jamb)

On some model cars this normal I own a Dodge truck that does the same thing .When I open my doors the interior lights come on then when I start moving my doors lock.On some vehicles the doors will lock and the daytime running lights come on automatically.Some vehicles also have an automatic setting on the light switch.Like I stated on some cars this is normal.

make sure you cheak the fuses they should be under the dash by your feet(i have a 1993 deville and the fusebox is by the E-Break) if any look burned either replace them with the EXACT same model (the wrong fuse might cause a fire) if you're not sure have someone else do it

Did you check the switch next to the interior light on the roof? Honda's have a switch position that turns off the dome light completely, so it won't work when the doors are opened or not shut tightly. There are 3 positions, dome light on all the time, dome light on only when door is opened, or ajar, and dome light off. I must say, I love Honda's, but I find this switch annoying!

the dome light fuse is on the drivers side under the dash.

timer is bad that shuts them off after u open and shut a door
should go off when u get in and start up vehicle

problem solved after cleaning the light sensor but the problem of twilight sentinel always exist , so if the twilight on the way of MAX the lights will remain 90 seconds ON but if i open the door and the interior lights will go on so the exterior lights will go OFF , what might be the problem?

i would check and make sure that this sensor is clean first and then i would look into having it replaced!! Welcome to the world of caddys
