After driving it about 15 miles it shuts off while im driving it

It just shuts off while im driving it.when it shuts off it i cant roll up my windows or nothing, but after it sits there for a little while it will start back up.

Do not belive that is it still looking for more info have same issue changed fuel pump, fuel filter an did a tune up drove for two days an the third it started again any help [email protected]

Alternator ! batteries have about 30 minute reserve if you have the patience to wait on the side of the road to recharge itself, but it will only do this about two times, so get to a service station as quick as possible because your running on battery power alone.

Fuel gauge

I don't think you could trust that either. Sounds like the sending unit in the tank is messed up, so it may never read correctly. By now, you must know the approximate miles per gallon it gets, so until you get the gauge fixed, you should go by the number of miles you go to know when it needs gassing up. Just as a ballpark figure, a '97 Sierra, city driving, maybe 15-17 mpg? I really don't know, you could google it I'm sure.

I just changed out the battery, and now i cannot roll down the passenger window from the drivers door. Also the ignition has to be in the "on " position to roll up the windows after you shut off...

just recently had the same problem...i read that if you hold ur window button down for 5 seconds it should reset the windows..also check if your window lock button is down(drivers side) same goes for the sun roof.

2001 Saab 95 se driver/passenger windows.

A car I owned the left rear window did that. I could pull it up by taking a hold of it while another person held the switch. They told me the problem was the track was made out of plastic and it had broken. They had to replace the track. Yes it was expensive to repair but is ok now.
