Question about 2003 Honda CR-V
I forgot to the close the cap of the gas tank last month. Around 10 miles passed when I noticed it. But still worked fine. one week later when I turned out the cart, the malfunction indicator lited, but it disappeared after several miles driving. Another week later, it appeared again and dissappeared two days later. Last week, the indicator lited again, and still on so far. I took the car to Autozone and people scan it and the code was P0122, TPS/pedal position sensor A sircuit low input.
Probably is the throttle position sensor is bad. If you through several cycles and the computer does not see a problem then it will clear the codes until the problems exists again. That is why you see the light go out. You probably have a problem with the TPS.
