2000 nission quest bulbs wont stay in headlights

inside the engine compartment directly behind the headlight it unscrews and pops out. then put it back in and retighten.

it should come out of the back of the housing just turn it one way or the other and pull it out or there is a keeper holding it in

On the side of the headlight assembly there is a lever sticking out with a checkered section just above it you have to push the checkered part (it's the release for the mechanism) then lift it up and slide it forward, but be ready to catch it when it slides out. Next remove the connectors on the back and pull it all the way out. I usually set it on a towel or something so it wont roll around while working on it. Getting it back in is trickier though because you have to line the tracks up perfectly when you slide it in otherwise it'll bind up on you. You should be able to replace the bulb from the rear of the light from inside the engine compartment. I is a small bulb unlike the hole light as in older cars. You must pull the plug connector off the back of the bulb than un-clip the heavy wire spring retainer and pull the bulb back. Try to remember the position of the metal positioning tabs. It's not a bad idea to take it with you when you go to buy a replacement as well as the car info. The new bulb must be handled with extreme care. At no time can you touch the glass bulb part. The oils from you had will significantly reduce the bulbs life. Now just slide the bulb back into the hole noting that there are three tabs of different size to insure the proper position of the bulb to get the correct light pattern on the road. Good luck.

I had an S-70 with the same problem what happens is the headlight switch tabs that hol it together broke and the switch was slightly separated and connection was not there for the headlights and also check the high beam see if headlights come on i dont think it is a relay or fuse??? proballally the headlight switch and easy to replace you even can use one from an 850 model
