SOURCE: 2002 Trailblazer blower not working

The blower motor resistor card is located under the glove box. You have to take the bottom panel from underneath the glove box out(be careful not to break the wire clip that holds the wires in place on that panel). Once you take the panel loose look in the back. You will see the blower motor. Behind the blower motor is the card. You will need a 9/32 for the panel and a 7/32 for the card. It is only 4 screws total to remove and 2 wire harness clips. It is about a 15 minute job. Good luck and hope this helps.  Auto Zone has the part for around $15.00 and will have the step by step instrutions for you also if you need it free of charge. I think the dealer charges $109.00 for this repair.

SOURCE: 04 Wrangler AC fan only works on high speed (position4).

Its the switch behind the fan nob thats not making contact, you have to pop the cover off the dash where the radio fan and other gizmos are. Then remove the fan nobs by pulling them straight off after that unscrew the housing unit inside is the switch. You must carefully pry this open so as not to break the plastic clips holding it together the switch thats fryed should just pop out easy replacement fan switch! If my mind serves me right it costs 40$ to replace if you order from chrysler.

SOURCE: ac fan won't turn off

In my 2001 Town and Country without automatic temperature control, my heater/AC blower suddenly worked only when set on high. Usually, that problem is your blower resistor pack.

I had to search for the one in my van since the parts man wasn’t sure where it was except that he thought it was in the dash somewhere. (In some other vans it was under the hood.) My Haynes manual didn’t have anything on it except a picture showing it with the blower. I found it directly behind the glove compartment. Very easy to get to once you know where it is.

The glove box can be lowered all the way out of the way just by pulling in the sides so the rubber stoppers come out toward you. The sides bend easily to allow that.

The glove box being out reveals the resistor in the heating duct right in front of you. Just remove the two sets of wires and two bolts (10mm socket, I think) and the resistor pack slides right out. Then bolt in the new one an plug the wires back in (they only fit in one way). Fold the glove box back up and press the stops in to get them back in place and you are done.

The resistor pack only cost $12 and change at my dealer. It is part number 1-04885583AB which was a replacement for the same number with AA at the end, so I’m guessing they had a lot of trouble with the AAs and so made a better AB.

Last Winter my heater blower fan worked only on High. I changed the front heater/AC blower resistor pack and was surprised at how easy it is, but I had to figure it out for myself since my Dealer's parts guy was no help as to where the part lived and my Haynes manual was just plain wrong. This was on a 2001 T+C. I'd be very surprised if the 2001 Caravan was any different. Don't know what other year vans would be the same. I do know some earlier generations had this resistor under the hood and Haynes had is with the blower sort of behind the instrument cluster.

SOURCE: 2004 chevy heater fan works on low and medium

There are two relays for the heater control fan,a low blower relay and a high blower relay. It sounds like the hi blower relay is bad.

SOURCE: Received a emission trouble code PO495,

Replace the fan control module for the radiator fans. These things are prone to failure.

Testimonial: "Outstanding advice! I went to Checker Auto Store and they told me my whole engine was going bad."

My 2007 LT Chevy Trailblazer is not blowing heat or ac unless I go over 60mph. What could be the issue?

heard and FELT parked. key on, hot or cold engine.
its just a blower DC motor 12vdc, and loud.
all vent tested not just one and try all vent path modes,.

this is only 1 test of vast.
we do the tests serially, from easy (hot) to hard (cold)
step 2 if heater tests

Blower doesn't work w/heat setting

Some cars feed the high speed on dash fans thru the ignition switch. So it will only work at low speed for heat and AC..

The AC on my 2002 chevy S 10 just suddenly stopped blowing cold air. The freon is full and the compressor is coming on. Any advice would be helpful in this Texas heat. Thanks

If the freon is full and the compressor clutch is working,is the blower working, need more details, if it is, you could have a blocked orifice filter. or a bad high pressure switch located at the rear of the compressor.if the high pressure switch loses voltage or goes out, your cool air will come to a dead halt. check the high pressure switch for voltage. good luck!

Bad Clutch Fan? Rear ac/heat don't work front only works on 4

The fan clutch isnt engaged at all times, therefore it may be normal to hold it in place (not recommended). On these trailblazer's 4.2L engine the fan clutch is electronically controlled. Usually when this vehicle's fan clutch malfunctions, there is a random ticking noise while idling or at a stop, also the "service engine soon" may turn on. As for the the fan speed problem, this may be a faulty blower resistor malf (typical) or climate control unit may be faulty. Hopefully this helps!!

I have 2005 chevy trailblazer heater wont work,

Sounds like your water pump is going out or your thermostat is stuck. Check the thermostat first and make sure it is not frozen in the clsed position.
