It is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 with 1-3-5-7 on the drivers side front to back, 2-4-6-8 on the pass side and the dist turns clockwise.
I wish I still had my Chilton's manual, I would scan a picture for you.

Surely you can't miss it. It is a circular thing on a stalk on the side of the engine, unless someone took it and you just have a hole in the side of the engine?

What is the firing order for a 1977 Dodge 360 and 318. Can I get a picture of the firing order on the distributor?
The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. I'll try to find a pic of the distributor layout although number "1" is usually embossed on the cap or on the distributor body.

Firing order 1-3-4-2 --------- front 1 2 3 4 |Distributor rotates clockwise
There should be a #1 on the dist indicating #1 wire.
