If it didn't overheat, it might've been too full. Keep an eye on the level, do not add more if it's showing correct level otherwise it will do it again.

"Leaking out" also means that you are not developing pressure. It is also the pressure that keeps the temp under control. There is a tester that puts pressure on the cooling system, that is the next step. something is leaking somewhere.

4jb1-t low oil pressure but has new everything?

Double check the oil pressure with an oil pressure gauge. If ok, replace the sender. If not then there could be any number of problems like wrong parts used in repairs. Are you using the proper oil viscosity?

Bmw 318i ran hot until it cut off turns over no start

Without having the car to diagnose, there is no way of knowing for sure. If it ran hot until it quit, my guess would be that you cracked a head or blew a head gasket. If that happened, antifreeze has entered the cylinders fowling the plugs and keeping them from firing which in-turn keeps it from starting.

Pull the plugs and look at them. There is a good chance they will be wet. Also, check the oil and antifreeze to see if either looks milky like a latte... if so, its done. If not, it is still possible that the leak is there, you just haven't been able to run it to tell. A compression and/or leak down test will verify the problem if the visual signs have not appeared.

Aluminum engine parts used on most all recent cars are great for saving weight, but they cannot handle excessive heat. Most aluminum alloys will start to droop/melt in the upper 700 degrees and warpage can happen much lower than that. Combustion temps are in the thousands of degrees. It does not take long without coolant to toast an engine! At the first sign of overheating or a blown coolant hose, TURN THE CAR OFF. Its cheaper to call a tow than to replace an engine.

Hope this isn't your case, but plan for the worst/hope for the best. Get it checked out.

If oil pressure is too high, check if the pressure relief valve is stuck or inoperable.Don't know where it's at on your toyota. Check with a garage or dealer for location. Other possibility is a clogged oil passage somewhere. For that, a good oil conditioner might help.

My car keeps running hot. I am having to add fluid often. I do add antifreeze. There does not seem to be a leak. Do you think it might be the water pump or the cooling fan? I drove 50 miles today with...

By your description, there would be no way you get 50 miles without a rad fan working or water pump problem, when you said you've put the heat in and the cars temp went up that means you have an air bubble in the system which was not properly bled.

My 2001 mazda millenia ran hot, we put water in it and it still ran hot does it sound like the thermostat?

If your car ran hot, you may need to check the radiator for a leak. You always need to add antifreeze/coolant when you add water to your car. Check you owner's manual for the type they suggest and the proper mix of water to antifreeze/coolant. I had to get a head on my motor shaved when my car ran hot and later I had to get the hoses replaced. My radiator cap died following my replacing the radiator as it was plastic and when the car overheated it damaged the cap. How long was the car running hot? You don't want to be a penny wize or a pound foolish when it comes to engine overheating problems. You can repair on the cheap now and pay a lot more in the long run. Also, in the future when your car runs hot, you can turn on the heater --yes even when it is hot outside--I recommend opening up the windows. The heater fan will help to dissipate the heat from the car engine. It does work. I hope these help. Also go to a reputable repair shop. It could be your thermostat they can have check valves which get messed up but you need to check to see if it is your radiator or if there is a leak there or in a hose.
