This scenario could be something as simple as just the exhaust vibrating at a certain time or engine speed and vehicle speed not matching at a point and then the exhaust vibrates against the underside of the floorboard because it is so close to the floor.

SOURCE: 1999 yukon denali no ac or heat blowing

chk the fan speed resistors mounted in the fan housing. You should be able to see the wires going into the box with 2 screws holding the resistors in place. Good Luck.

SOURCE: whirring noise front end 2003 yukon denali xl

Your front pump in the transmission could be going bad. Check the transmission fluid for level and condition. The fluid should be bright red and not burnt (dark in color like burgandy). Best thing to do is take it to a transmission shop and have them check your truck for DTC codes with a Tech 2 scanner and have them do a transmission line pressure test. The whining can also indicate low on transmission fluid and that's bad, you may have burnt some of the clutch packs already and shorten the life of your transmission. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help.

SOURCE: clunk noise from front passenger side when

That noise sounds to me like a Ball Joint problem. I would check to see if you have fittings to grease the front suspention.

Good luck, Allen

2003 Yukon Denali, AWD. Was towed. now whining front end. Next a big clunk, sounded something broke up front. Car running with clanking sound, not in park, won't move. No forward or reverse gears.

I need to know how and why it was towed. Any and all AWD vehicles must be towed on a flatbed. If two wheels are left to spin on the ground. The drivetrain system will be damaged. If the vehicle was towed on a flatbed. I would need to see if the tow truck driver improperly installed their restraint chains and damaged something underneath. There is no way to provide you with an estimate. Unfortunately the vehicle needs to be towed to a capable repair shop or Dealer for diagnostics and estimate.

Bose amp

Next time it does it take your fist and hit the top of the console armrest, toward the rear of the armrest, if it stops suspect the Rear Seat Audio module, I'm assuming you have one because I've replaced 3 in the last few months for this exact problem,it sounds like an alt. whine up and down with the engine speed, yes the amp is bolted to the floor under the console, you can pop that RSA module out and let it hang until it makes the noise and then lightly hold it and tap on it to see if the noise goes away. The RSA needs to be programmed to the truck at a dealer.
Hope this helps

Check the exhaust system insulators for wear or loss as it may be metal on the support brackets.

Yukon heater wont blow on floor

Your heater contol switch is run by vacuum. Make sure when you turn the selction to floor heat you do not hear a hissing sound, that would indicate a vacuum line off.
The divertor door also may be stuck.
If you want to dig into it further you must remove the dash panel plastic bezel, and take out the HVAC selector assembly.
Please elt me know what you find.

Is it hard to replace a rear differential on a 99 yukon denali

Not really, but you do need a floor jack and good jack stands. Air tools help because most bolts will be tight and stuck.

02 yukon denali has a whining noise similar to bad wheel bearings. wheel bearings were just replaced. could it be cv's, no clunking sound though. also, sometimes the vehicle ''jerks'' when accelerating,...

the jerking and noise you are experiencing is the drive chain and bearings in the transfer case also you may want to check the end play in both front and rear pinion bearings and yokes
