This is correct go to rockauto.Com and look up your truck and the pump because of 2 reason the float will not read correctly and the base might have a different bolt pattern for the mounting plate but you could just swap the pumps without the sender and it will run and I mean the actual pump swap to the other sender and mounting plate
It may possibly fit between the 2 BUT the distance of travel and position of the float would be different places between the 2 tanks, being of different volume that is. Your best off getting the proper unit for your needs, they're not that expensive from and auto parts counter.

U must remove the entire dash assembly and then the heater core housing which is part of the air distribution box, time to do the job 10-15 hours.
